Thank you Dr. Joshua LaBaer, director of the Virginia Piper Center for Personalized Medicine, for an exciting presentation on the immune system and how it relates to cancer. Dr. LaBaer was both knowledgeable and comfortable with his topic and provided ample time to respond to all questions and concerns. Attendees shared a relaxed and informative evening complete with great food and service provided by Donovan’s Steakhouse. Thank you for the opportunity to learn so much about research going on around us. I appreciate being able to attend your functions. The program on nutrition should be of interest to everyone. Again I thank you for last nights meeting and soup & salad.
